It has never happened to you to wake up with a song dancing in your head?
It happens to me almost every morning, for this, just out of my room, I enter my office and turn on the PC, then went to the kitchen and put it on the coffee maker , I light a cigarette and then go to the bathroom.
At that point the PC is able to light up (he's older, then I installed in many of those stupid things and who knows how many viruses have caught him, he need a little 'time to recover) and then I go on over to YouTube looking for the "dancing" song.
My tastes more 'or less are the same for several years, then at the end, the songs I prefer are often the usual old classics .... I listen them to more than twenty years, rarely there's something new .... I need time to enter a song in my mind , quite a lot of time, and there are not many songs who survive the time.
This morning I woke up a little 'more later than usual, with a bright sun, so bright that it seems to spring .....
And for me, as I think for any biker, spring and the sun give the almost physical need to take the bike and look for a way to go, leaving behind the world ....
This morning was one of those days, I wants to take the bike to die for ... and that's a big prob if you have a broken shoulder that is still painful after more than a month ...
So, to mitigate this burning desire, the only way is to put on a bit of great songs about roads, the kind that you can close your eyes and you're in America, with the bike under your ass and many miles ahead, and over a beautiful blue warm sky.
A terribly trite and obvious picture , I know, but what can I do, I don't pretend to be a great innovator of the philosophical and social thought .... I just need a road.
Good day to you all.
Boston - More than a feeling
Sweet Home Alabama- Lynyrd Skynyrd
